Survival, wildlife, farming, plants, maps, adventure.
We will have a focus on our environment and our place in it. We will have a week full of adventures and skill building including, how to safely build a camp fire, what to do if you get caught in a rain storm! As well as some plant and animal identification and discussions on preservation and respect.
- Art projects will include, map making, nature journals, create our own games with natural objects, making smudge sticks.
- We will investigate how different cultures interact with nature and have in the past as well as our roll in the future.
- We will Most definitely have free play time in mud puddles and organized games as well.
- We are planning on an over night camp out on the Friday of this week! tents and campfire cooking. We can discuss details the week of and its fine if you child is not interested in sleeping over. Please feel free to email directly with questions
-Please be sure your independent children bring these items with them as we will be in the woods quite a bit.
